Who is Nature's Cuisine?
We are known to develop cookware that bridges old world techniques and values with modern culinary methods. Our line of natural wood products began over a decade ago. The cedar-roasting plank is our flagship product, inspired by a unique culinary tradition perfected by generations of Pacific Northwest natives who roasted wild salmon on aromatic wood planks.

Looking back...
The story of Nature's Cuisine and our line of natural-wood products for cooking began over a decade ago. We never could have imagined then that a thriving business would grow out of our founder's passionate quest for a cedar roasting plank. Watching a restaurant chef demonstrate the plank-roasting method on a TV cooking show prompted her search. When she tracked the roasting plank to a source in Seattle, its fragrant wood aromas evoked fond memories of a special childhood relationship she had with a Native American friend and her family. Every aspect of their lives, including food preparation, reflected their culture's love and respect for nature, their ancestors and their traditions.  

Thrilled with the results of cooking on wood, she decided to refine the oven-roasting plank into a version that could be produced in quantities. After a number of adaptations and test runs, several hundred cedar planks were manufactured according to patented specifications. Shortly thereafter this unique culinary tradition adapted from generations of Pacific Northwest natives became main stream.       
      
In 2003, the original business disbanded and a new privately held company was established as Nature's Cuisine. Its wood roasting planks and grilling planks are now known around the world.

Our vision for Nature's Cuisine goes far beyond the wood products offered today. Our dream is to continually introduce unique cooking products to the market. Products designed specifically for individuals interested in a natural, healthful way of cooking, an elegant presentation, and a culinary experience that blends flavors in a uniquely memorable fashion. Nature's products today are just the beginning of a diverse product line dedicated to the individual seeking a dining experience out of the ordinary.
